Do Your Part to Alleviate the Crisis in Lebanon NOW!

Since the start of the aggression against Lebanon on 12th July, 2006, hundreds of civilians have lost their lives; many of them children, thousands more have been injured and hundreds of thousands more are left bereaved and homeless, many of them fending for themselves and struggling to get their families to safety.  Our heartfelt sorrow for their predicament is only a start! It is our duty as a community to do all we can to assist - Enough talk, it's time to take action!

One of the first NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) on the ground in Lebanon is the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has launched a preliminary appeal for AED 3.68 million Dirham (€ 846,000/1 million US$) to support the assistance programs set up by National Red Crescent Societies for people fleeing hostilities in Lebanon.
